Question & Answer Time Is Better Than Nothing
If you could share your thoughts or ideas with anyone dead or alive, who would it be? I would like to share my thoughts now that I'm an adult with my grandmother who died when I was 15. And I would also love to do the same with my grandpa who died when I was only 5. Only God knows why they were both taken away from me before I really got to know them.

What would you discuss? Everything under the sun....I would talk about love, marriage, heartaches, and life in general. I would love to hear stories from when they were kids, teenagers, and an adult.

What is your craziest memory of high school? I wasn't a vert crazy person cuz I always was afraid of getting into trouble. I was pretty boring and never really did crazy things.

The most magical time in your childhhod? All of the times when the whole family was together and death hadn't touched on our lives yet.

What famous person do you admire and why? I admire Billy Graham. Even though some don't agree with him on every issue, he has been a man of integrity and I admire how much he adored and loved his wife, Ruth, who died a few weeks ago. I can't imagine after all those years of marriage having to say goodbye to the one who was by your side for more than 40 years. It's wonderful to be a Christian and have the faith, hope, and the assurance that we aren't saying goodbye forever, just a short time on this earth.

What ordinary person do you admire and find to be not so ordinary? Why? I have a few names that come straight to my mind, but the first ones that popped up were my mom and dad. You don't realize what your parents have done for you until you are a mature adult and see the sacrifice they give to their children. To me, it's extraordinary what parents give up for their children; I think a parent's love is the most unselfish love in this world.

What is one thing that you want to change about your life in the next 5 years? I hope to achieve more in my career and I'll be working towards that next year by going back to school for additional education.

What you are looking forward to most in the next year? Since I'm pretty much dreading all of next year since Jer will be gone, I do look forward to his R & R when we get to see each other again even if it's only for a few weeks.

Where would be your ideal winter vacation? Going to the Swiss Alps...I hate snow but I won't mind experiencing it in the Alps! :) That is where snow belongs!

Ideal summer vacation? Renting a pretty cottage in Tuscany for the summer!

What do you want people to remember about you after you are gone? That I was a person of compassion, and I was a good friend to both man and animal! :)

A phrase or a quote that best desribes you or your life or your way of thinking: Life is too short to live with the regrets of past mistakes. The only thing to regret is if you never use what you learned from those mistakes to help someone else along.

Ever Wonder???
Here some things my mind was musing over while I was watching people in the mall today:

1. Why do parents insist on taking their "darlings" into stores when they know the "darlings" are going to throw a fit when they can't have something? I actually heard one mom say, "I knew you were going to act this way!" Duh! (It's called a spanking and yes, I do believe in them!!)

2. Why do chicks walk around in skimpy outfits, yet they give give the finger to the guy that makes a improper comment about them? They should know that it is going to happen when they look like a street walker!

3. How come old people use the mall as if it is a running/walking track? Oh, I know that answer, because it's free, right?

4. Why does a couple go into a jewelry store and the woman tells the boyfriend/husband to pick out something that he thinks she would want but then makes a face of pure annoyance when he points to something that she obviously doesn't like and then says, "You don't know me at all!"? Girl, you should always pick it out and then just tell him what you want; don't give the guy the responsibility or you may be sorry.

5. Last but not least, why do men go into Victoria Secret or Fredericks of Hollywood and stare at all the girls in the store as if trying to imagine them in the sexy outfits? Are they imagining it on each woman or trying to compare the girl's shape to the wife's shape?
